Acceptable use policy

What you can't use Quello for, so it stays fast and available for everyone.

Updated

Quello keeps your connection private. To keep it working well for everyone, these rules apply to every account. They are part of our terms of service.

Do not use Quello to

  • do anything that is illegal where you are or where our server is;
  • access, share or sell content you are not allowed to, or get around paying for content you are required to pay for;
  • send spam or bulk messages, or run phishing or scams;
  • attack, scan or break into other networks, computers or accounts;
  • spread malware, or run botnets or command servers;
  • share material that exploits children (we report it to the authorities);
  • harass, threaten or stalk anyone.

Protect the network

  • Do not overload our servers on purpose, for example with traffic floods or by running public servers through the tunnel.
  • Do not share your account outside your household or resell access. Your plan sets how many devices can be connected at once.
  • Do not try to get around the device limit or get into other people's accounts or our systems.

What happens if these rules are broken

We may warn you, limit your connection, or suspend or close your account, depending on how serious it is. If we close an account for breaking these rules, we do not refund it.
